It includes video and photos of Aboriginal celebrations and ceremonies, traditional practices and interpretation for the general public, as well as images of Aboriginal people and Parks Canada staff working together in a variety of contexts.

Aboriginal Engagement at Parks Canada
Parks Canada works with more than 300 First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities across Canada, helping us to connect to Canada’s special places.
Together we protect more than 320,000 km2 of lands and waters,
- through formal and informal cooperative agreements,
- through the creation of new protected areas and the expansion of existing ones,
- by working with Aboriginal knowledge holders for a holistic stewardship of the land,
- by enriching visitors’ experiences with Aboriginal stories and cultural practices,
- and by building bridges with the support and dedication of the entire Parks Canada team and the leadership of the Aboriginal Consultative Committee.
