Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park

Bewitched by Pointe-Noire’s landscape, you stop, with the Saguenay Fjord’s kilometres of beauty stretching before you. What a perfect place for a picnic! Suddenly, you hear a gasping breath. You hold your own breath and turn to see a Minke whale. With a bit of luck, you might also spot the belugas that frequent the area. Later, at a visit to Cap-de-Bon-Désir and the Marine Environment Discovery Centre, experience other creatures and participate in a variety of activities.

How about a boat or kayak excursion next? Then, observe the seabed through the eyes of divers equipped with cameras, or perhaps don scuba equipment yourself and go diving. Perhaps, for now, you’ll simply enjoy the interpretive centre, but the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park is one of those magical places that will draw you back to revisit as often as possible.
